Welcome to Blyth Preschool. We are a small friendly community based Preschool group run by a committee of parents. Our aim is to provide a high standard of childcare within a happy and caring environment.

We are based in the Barnby Memorial Hall, Blyth; just 5 minutes away from St Mary And St Martin Primary School, and we maintain strong links with the school through frequent visits and many shared activities. 

We are registered for 11 children each session and open mornings. Run by qualified staff we provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children 'Learn through play'.

Session times are 9.00am - 11.30am and 12.45pm - 15.15pm Monday to Friday.

We also have close links to the Toddler group which is held every Thursday morning in the hall. In addition we run a Physical Play Programme 'Sure Tots' each Friday which we are able to provide for our Preschool children at no extra charge.

We are a non-profit based Preschool and rely on parents / carers to help with our fundraising. Fundraising activities have included 'Sponsored sunflower growing' with the children, parties, selling crafts, raffles, etc. Our parents are very much involved with the Preschool and have the opportunity to:

We constantly thrive to improve Preschool provision for the children. This has led to Blyth Preschool being the first in Bassettlaw to achieve the Preschool Learning Alliance Accreditation Award. Pictured from left to right are our team:
